РусскийArmenian Genocide victims to be honored in Istanbul
Commemorative events on the 101st anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will be held in Istanbul. As “Armenpress” reports, a number of events are planned by the “No to racism and discrimination” organization this year.
On April 22 a press conference will be held in the “Cezayir” hall where details will be presented. A commemoration of Sevak Balkchri, an Armenian serviceman of the Turkish army who was killed by ethnic hatred will be held on April 24 in the Armenian cemetery of Shishli, at 15:30 local time.
The main commemorative event will be held at 19:15 in Istanbul’s central Avenue, Istiklal.
