On April 11, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan moderated a regulatory consultation with Deputy Ministers Serzh Srapionyan and Vahagn Melikyan, Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Firdus Zakaryan, the heads of departments and divisions, the directors of the “Homeland-Diaspora Center” SNCO and the “Im Haiastan’ (My Armenia) Pan-Armenian Festival, as well as the editor-in-chief of “Hayern Aysor” (Armenians Today) online newspaper.

The Minister attached importance to the role of the Armenian Diaspora in resisting Azerbaijan’s military aggression, establishing peace and supporting the Defense Army and devastated people of Artsakh and assigned to work more efficiently by being consistent and closely collaborating with Diaspora Armenian figures, structures and organizations.

The heads of departments and divisions talked about the events and initiatives that are being held by Diaspora Armenian structures, organizations and communities in connection with the events taking place in Artsakh and delivered reports on the humanitarian aid and financial assistance that has been provided.

They also delivered reports on the current activities that have been completed within the scope of the programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora throughout the past week.

The Minister gave new assignments, designated correspondents and coordinators and instructed everyone to complete the assignments in a timely, effective and consistent manner.
