Two Spanish cities recognize the Armenian Genocide

On April 5, two cities of the Kingdom of Spain (Puente Genil and La Roda de Andalucia) officially recognized the Armenian Genocide.

As the press service of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports to Hayern Aysor, both cities passed the Armenian Genocide resolutions upon the unanimous consent of all the political parties represented in the respective city council.

The resolutions condemn Turkey’s denial and call on other cities and the central authorities of Spain to follow their example and urge Turkey to do the same thing.
