RA Minister of Diaspora participated in Holy Mass in memory of martyred soldiers of Artsakh in Vienna

The working visit of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan to the United States of America is over. On April 2, on the way back to Armenia, Hranush Hakobyan made a visit to Vienna and, at the Saint Hripsime Armenian Church, participated in the Holy Mass in memory of the Armenian soldiers who died during the military operations provoked by Azerbaijan on the Nagorno-Karabakh –Azerbaijan Line of Contact on the night of April 1.

After the Holy Mass, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan had a meeting with representatives of the local Armenian community.

“At this moment, it is necessary for Diaspora Armenian structures and organizations to speak out to the authorities of their countries of residence by all possible means, have meetings, urge and demand condemnation of Azerbaijan’s attacks and suppress Baku’s belligerent ambitions,” the Minister of Diaspora said, reports Hayern Aysor.

Afterwards, Hranush Hakobyan had a separate meeting with the members of the church council (over a dozen Armenian unions, societies and associations are members of the council) and the newly elected chairman Vahagn Amirjanyan. Issues related to the tension in Nagorno-Karabakh and pan-Armenian issues were discussed during the meeting.
