Armenian lecturer of Nunspeet Free Academy of Arts receives title of Professor
Serob Darbinyan was born and raised in Yerevan. He graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts (currently Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts) and moved to the Netherlands with his family in 1996.
His paintings, which are often the result of innovations, quickly became popular in the Netherlands, the land of the arts. Experts highly appreciate the results that he has achieved in different branches of painting. Dutch media have reflected on Serob’s paintings. The painter always takes the opportunity to emphasize his national belonging and attaches importance to his national identity and character. Currently, Serob not only paints, but also lectures at the Nunspeet Free Academy of Arts, reports Hayern Aysor, citing the Diary of the Netherlands.
“I was conferred the title of an Associate Professor in Holland 17 years ago, and now I have been conferred the title of a Professor,” wrote Serob Darbinyan on his Facebook page.
