Republican consultation to be held ahead of International Mother Language Day

On February 19 at 15:00, the RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Atcharyan Institute of Language of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia (NAS RA) (Address: 15 Grigor Lusavorich, 2nd floor) will hold a republican consultation entitled “Contemporary Issues in the Study of the Armenian Language” ahead of International Mother Language Day at the an Institute of Language of the NAS RA.

RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, Academician/Secretary of the NAS RA Yuri Suvaryan, Director of the Language Institute of the NAS RA V. Katvalyan and others will give speeches at the event.

Among other participants will be renowned linguists and representatives of universities.

The participants of the event will discuss the study of the Armenian language, will present different areas and modes of study of the Armenian language within scientific and educational institutions of the Republic of Armenia and will specify the current issues and the opportunities for cooperation.
