The Turkish policeman photographed inside the Saint Kirakos Armenian Church of Diyarbakir has posted a comment offending and threatening Christians on Twitter.

According to News.am, the user named Turk polisi has posted a photo taken in the Saint Kirakos Armenian Church of Diyarbakir and has made the following comment: “Diyarbakir, Sur district. The grandchildren of Sultan Alparslan are converting infidels to Islam…”

Built in 1376, the Saint Kirakos Church of Diyarbakir is the largest Armenian church in Turkey and in the Near East.

Let us mention that the Saint Kirakos Church, which was renovated and reopened years ago in the Sur district of the Kurdish-populated city of Diyarbakir, is now in the center of clashes between the Turks and the Kurds.
