On the occasion of New Year and Christmas, the annual festive events for children have kicked off at the Presidential Residence of the President of the Republic of Armenia.

As reports the press service of the RA President, the RA Presidential Residence hosted today 300 children of general education schools who have made great achievements.

The events for the children will continue at the RA Presidential Residence on December 23^rd and 24^th as well.

Tomorrow the RA Presidential Residence will host the children and grandchildren of families of military servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, members of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders and deceased and disabled freedom fighters, as well as children from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and the children of employees of the Police of the Republic of Armenia and the National Security Service.

On December 24, the RA Presidential Residence will host Syrian-Armenian children from several villages of the bordering regions of the Republic of Armenia (Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, Ararat and Tavush regions), Syrian-Armenian children having taken shelter in Armenia, as well as children with limited capabilities and children having won prizes at Olympiads (the Kangaroo and Bee Olympiads).
