First responses to the “Happy year to you, little one” charity program for Syrian-Armenian children

The Hayern Aysor electronic newspaper of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, in association with Canada’s Horizon Weekly and YERAKOUYN newspaper, has launched the “Happy year to you, little one” charity program. The organizers are already receiving feedback from Diaspora Armenian organizations and individuals from the Russian cities of Adigea, Krasnodar and Tuapse, as well as from Argentina and Canada.

Citizens of Armenia also responded to the call to prepare New Year’s gifts for 1-16-year-old Syrian-Armenian children living in Armenia’s bordering regions. The directors of several kindergartens of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan visited yesterday the editorial office of Hayern Aysor to transfer their New Year’s gifts for the children that include toys, clothes and pastry.

Let us remind that those who would like to prepare gifts may do so by calling at +374 10 53 09 38, or sending an e-mail to hayernaysor@gmail.com, info@yerakouyn.com.editor@horizonweekly.ca so that they can receive the name, age and place of residence of the particular child.

Armenians abroad can also make online purchases or purchase gifts and send them to the Center for Coordination of Syrian-Armenians’ Issues NGO (AGBU Vahe Karapetian Center, 1. Z. Qanaqertsi, Yerevan 0052, RA).

Before sending, we ask you to send the invoice for the gifts (list, weight, price) to ccsaingo@yahoo.com and hayernaysor@gmail.com.
