17-year-old Lola Ouzounian has died, parents recognized her

French-Armenian Lola Ouzounian, who was considered missing following the November 13 terrorist attack in Paris, has died. This is what Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France (CCAF) Mourad Papazian told NEWS.am. According to him, law-enforcement officers have informed the girl’s parents, who recognized the girl’s body.

The date of the girl’s burial hasn’t been announced yet. According to Mourad Papazian, several expert examinations need to be conducted.

Let us remind that the 17-year-old Armenian girl was attending the concert of the American rock band Eagles of Death Metal at Bataclan Theater with her father on November 13. During the commotion, the father and the daughter lost each other. The father was saved, but Lola got lost, and the parents had been searching for her for several days.

Terrorist acts began in Paris on the evening of November 13. Terrorists bombed the area near Stade de France Stadium three times, fired shots at the restaurant and took hostages during the rock concert taking place at Bataclan Theater.

As a result, based on official statistics, 129 people were killed. Based on the latest statistics, there are 352 injured persons, of which 99 are in extremely heavy conditions.

A state of emergency has been declared across the country.
