70th anniversary of St. Mary Church of Tehran

On November 8, the Komitas Hall of “Ararat” Armenian Cultural Organization of Tehran hosted a ceremony dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the construction and consecration of the St. Mary Church of Tehran, reports Hayern Aysor, according to Iran’s Alik Daily.
The ceremony included many speeches and performances.
The speaker was Lida Berberian, who talked about the establishment and consecration of the St. Mary Church in its entirety. Argin Aristakesian read the message of love and appreciation and the blessing of Archbishop Sepuh Sarkisian, and Jackilyn Charmahali conveyed the words of the church council.
In the end, host Edward Harutyunian called Archbishop Sepuh Sarkisian to the stage to give his blessing and give a closing speech.
The ceremony ended with a cordial reception.
