Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to continue to support Syrian-Armenian families in Armenia

From November 3 to 5, the Supreme Spiritual Council of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin held a session moderated by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

As reports the information system of the Mother See, the participants of the session of the Supreme Spiritual Council were informed about the current situation in the Near East and the issues facing the Armenian community of Syria. Touching upon the support that the Hierarchical Sees and diocesan structures of the Armenian Church have shown to the Syrian-Armenians to this day, including financial assistance, the members of the Supreme Spiritual Council affirmed that the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin would continue to support the Syrian-Armenian community and the needy Syrian-Armenian families having taken shelter in Armenia.
