Monument devoted to Armenian Genocide Centennial unveiled at Haigazian University

A monument in the shape of a Forget-Me-Not, which is the symbol of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, was unveiled during a ceremony held in the garden of Haigazian University in Beirut. Among those attending the ceremony were RA Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan, spiritual leaders, Members of the Parliament of Lebanon, as well as leaders and representatives of political parties, national organizations and media outlets.
As reports the Department of Information and Public Relations of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event was initiated by the Women’s Association of Compatriotic Unions of Lebanon and was held under the patronage of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Lebanon Central Body and in association with Haigazian University. The participants addressed President of Haigazian University Paul Haydostian, Chairman of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Lebanon Central Body Seta Khdshian and Chairwoman of the Women’s Association of Compatriotic Unions Maro Balabanian.
