Teleconference was held on August 20^th in the Ministry of Diaspora with the participation of the chairman of the Armenian Genocide Centenary Committee of Lebanon, representative of the ArmenianApostolicChurch, Seda Khtshyan, and ARF representative, Azdak chief editor, Shahan Kandaharian. Serj Sraponyan, the vice-minister of RA Ministry of Diaspora, chaired the conference.

 Due to the political situation in Lebanon and the Civil War in Syria, the core issue of the conference was Armenians’ circumstances in both countries.

 Sh. Kandaharian and S. Khtshyan presented all the events for the commemoration of the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.  On the other hand Serj Sraponyan presented the programs and events implemented by the Ministry of Diaspora.

 Both sides emphasized the necessity of RA President’s suggestion – creating Pan-Armenian Committee.
