Lebanese-Armenian youth wish to settle in Artsakh in the future

On August 6, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Ashot Ghulyan received members of ARF Lebanese Youth Association, who are on a historical and cognitive visit to Artsakh and are under the leadership of Chairman of ARF Lebanon Juniors Association Sako Araboghlian.

As reports the press service of the NKR National Assembly, greeting the Lebanese-Armenian youth, the parliamentary speaker praised their visit to Artsakh and mentioned that it served as a unique opportunity for them to learn about their national history and culture. In this context, the parliamentary speaker attached importance to the need for strengthening of relations with their compatriots living in the homeland and for preserving the Armenian identity in their local communities.

Afterwards, Ashot Ghulyan provided the young Armenians with information about the liberation movement of the Armenians of Artsakh, as well as the achievements that the second free and independent Armenian state has made, underlining the weighty role that the Armenian Diaspora has played in the development of the country.

After the warm and friendly meeting, most of the Lebanese-Armenian youth said they would like to settle in Artsakh in the future.
