Genocide photos, Renaissance fresco to be displayed in Italy’s Brescia
Armenian Genocide photos and an unexpectedly found Renaissance fresco will be displayed at an exhibition in the Italian city of Brescia, News.am reports citing local newspaper Brescia Oggi.
The exhibition will be held at the Museum Sacrae Artis, the paper writes.
Scholars presume that Giovanni Pietro de Cemmo, who lived in XV-XVI centuries can be the creator of the fresco. It will be showcased at the exhibition “Depository of Wonderful,” which will run through September 10.
The museum also hosts the photo exhibition “Flares of Apocalypses” in commemoration of the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the exhibition “ISIS: Blow of Fear and Horror.”
