12 Armenian families wish to move to Artsakh
Nearly 12 families spending their vacation in Artsakh have decided to settle in the country.
This is what member of “Artsakh” Compatriotic Union, Deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Hamlet Harutyunyan, who was born in Karabakh, told Hraparak.am. “Every day, more and more families arrive in Artsakh. Based on estimates, over 500 families have returned and are spending their vacation at home. They are people who have left Artsakh in different periods and have friends and empty homes here.
It seems as though the mission of this initiative is being accomplished. Twelve families have wished to move from Russia and Ukraine and settle in Karabakh,” Hamlet Harutyunyan said.
Let us remind that a month ago, the “Artsakh” Compatriotic Union called on all Armenians around the world, especially Armenians from Karabakh to visit the native land from time to time and spend at least a week of their family vacation in Artsakh. On June 20, nearly 200 Russia-based Armenian families arrived in Artsakh through the Vardenis-Karvatchar road under the leadership of President of “Artsakh” Compatriotic Union Varujan Grigoryan.
