Among the attendees will be Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister of France Manuel Vals, the mayors of Paris and Alfortville and the school’s general benefactor Kevork Arabian, report Hayern Aysor’s sources in France.

The construction of the school was made possible at the initiative of former leader of the Armenian Diocese of France and President of the Armenian Cultural Development Foundation of France (APCAF), Archbishop Norvan Zakarian. Beirut-Armenian Kevork Arabian covered the major expenses for construction.

Construction was launched in 2013 by Hagopian architectural firm. The 1,585 square meter school has three stories and will include a pre-school and a middle school.

According to Archbishop Norvan Zakarian, the beautiful school will become one of the décors of Alfortville and the beacon for Armenian language instruction on the side of Seine River.
