A discussion on the Armenian­Russian cooperation in energy sector was held at the Government of the Republic of Armenia on June 26.

The press service of the Government of Armenia informed that the discussion was attended from the Armenian side by the Deputy Prime Minster of Armenia, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Iosif Isayan, from the Russian side by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, the co­chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Russia Maxim Sokolov and other officials. The sides discussed the joint programs in the energy sector and the prospects of deepening the cooperation.
