Opening of first stage of “Ari Tun” Program to be held

The solemn opening ceremony of the first stage of the 2015 “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora for Diaspora Armenian youth’s homeland recognition will be held on June 15 at 10:00.
RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan will give a welcome speech at the event.
The 2015 “Ari Tun” Program will host up to 1,100 Diaspora Armenian youth in the Homeland. The program will be held in eight stages (14 June-29 August). This year, there will also be a four-day camping event in Tsaghkadzor.
The first stage will be held with the participation of 58 young Armenians, of which 38 are Syrian-Armenians having settled in Armenia, and 20 are 13-18-year old boys and girls from the Russian Federation, Belarus, Turkmenistan and the USA.
The participants will watch a film about the “Ari Tun” Program and will be greeted with performances by members of the Mesrop Mashtots Center for Speech Culture, Betty, who represented Armenia at the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest and others.
