Several Brazilian mass media outlets have covered adoption of Armenian Genocide Resolution

Folha de São Paulo, which is one of Brazil’s top newspapers, has covered the June 2 decision of the Senate on Armenian Genocide recognition, reports armeniangenocide100.org.

As posted on the website, the Senate has approved the decision on expressing support to the Armenian people by viewing the massacres perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire against the Armenians during WWI as genocide.

Other newspapers have also covered the topic. O Tempo has also reported the adoption of the decision by the Senate and has emphasized that the legal successor of the Ottoman Empire, that is, Turkey denies the Armenian Genocide.
