Aurelia Grigoriu’s appalling statement made in Armenia’s National Assembly doesn’t correspond to Moldova’s position at all. The Parliamentary Lawyer’s speech was politicized, and that is unacceptable. This shows that the official is politically useless and non-professional. This is the conclusion that the Human Rights Committee of the Moldovan Parliament drew during its session today.

But according to the Committee’s Chairman Vadim Mishin, the Committee still hasn’t taken a final decision, reports piblika.md.

“Grigoriu’s speech is neither related to the parliament nor to the position of the Republic of Moldova in general. Grigoriu expressed her personal position. Moldova has a problem with Transdnester and is aware of how delicate it is. We understand that Grigoriu has done wrong by giving such a speech and giving legal evaluations of the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides instead of speaking about human rights in Moldova”, declared Mishin.
