RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Syrian-Armenian fashion designer Kevork Shadoyan.

The minister praised the designer’s Shadoyan Fashion House, which has helped create a unique style based on Armenian national costumes and present an interesting mix of the traditional and the new.

Hranush Hakobyan congratulated Kevork Shadoyan on receiving an award for Best Foreign Collection during the Estet Fashion Week event in Moscow. The collection was called “Renaissance” and was dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

Shadoyan talked about his plans to showcase the “Renaissance” Collection in Iran, Australia, the U.S. and France.

The sides discussed issues on the fashion show to be held in Yerevan on May 29.
