These past days we became convinced once again of how strong a nation is when it is consolidated and stands united as one. We also saw how united the Armenian State and the Armenian Diaspora were. The common pain, sorrow and remembrance, as well as the willpower and persistence to live, become empowered, help the country develop and become stronger and more competitive were what brought us together. We have to empower and reinforce Armenia as a nation, and to achieve that goal, we need to seek and find ways and undertake initiatives.

 Unquestionably, the reinforcement of Armenia’s banking system will help create jobs, develop the economy and promote investments. If thousands of Armenians open bank accounts in Armenia, they won’t lose. On the contrary, they will contribute to the country’s economic advancement.

 The development of tourism will also help strengthen the economy. The active efforts of our compatriots will also help attract more tourists, enhance infrastructures and create more jobs. The RA Ministry of Diaspora has made and will continue to make such proposals to Armenians abroad, regardless of whether a particular individual likes it or not. We are interested in the reinforcement and development of Armenia, and each Armenian must make his or her contribution to the sacred task of nation-building.
