On April 26, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received students of Hovnanian School (New Jersey, USA) accompanied by benefactor of the Mother See, Mr. Hrach Tufaian and the school’s official representatives. His Holiness Karekin II, expressing his appreciation and giving his blessings to the students and official representatives of Hovnanian School, emphasized that he was very pleased to be hosting the smart students of Hovnanian School who, coming to the Mother Homeland, have the chance to become more familiar with the expectations that the Armenian Church and the Armenian people have from them. The Supreme Patriarch emphasized with satisfaction that these visits will make the students have new visions through which they must study the history and present of the Armenian people and maintain the Armenian national traditions. Touching upon the Canonization of the victims of the Armenian Genocide that took place at the Mother See a couple of days ago, His Holiness encouraged the students and official representatives to realize why and how their ancestors were martyred and what wishes and expectations from the young generation of today they would have. After the meeting with the Catholicos of All Armenians, the students also visited the museums of the Mother See to become familiar with the highly valuable sanctities that are kept at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
