On April 25, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received founding benefactor of KOHAR Symphony Orchestra and Choir, Lebanese-Armenian figure Kohar Khatchadourian, as well as the ensemble’s executive directors Sevag Seropian and Saro Seropian.

The minister greeted the guests and attached importance to their pro-national activities for the development and dissemination of Armenian culture.

Mrs. Kohar Khatchadourian expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and invited the minister to participate in the presentation of KOHAR’s new DVD.

The sides talked about the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and the events taking place in the world today, particularly the march organized by the Armenian community of Lebanon.

The sides also discussed cultural life within the Lebanese-Armenian community.
