On 23 November Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan partook in the “Telethon – 2014” Gala dinner party held in Los Angeles and delivered there a speech.

President Sahakyan touched upon life in Artsakh, its domestic and foreign policy, regional processes and signified cooperation with the Diaspora.

Speaking about the construction of the Vardenis-Martakert highway which has been again chosen as the main target of the “Telethon-2014”, the Head of the State qualified it as a project of key strategic and socioeconomic significance.

President Sahakyan awarded philanthropist Gerald Turpanjian with the “Mesrop Mashtots” order for the service rendered to the Nagorno Karabagh Republic.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, vice-premier Arthur Aghabekyan, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the USA Tigran Sargsyan and other officials partook in the event.
