“Ari Tun-2014”. Return to the identity. The Armenians from Diyarbakir paid tribute to the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide at Tsitsernakaberd
As previously reported, a group of Islamized Armenians from Diyarbakir participates in the 6th stage of “Ari Tun-2014” program. In scope of the program, they visited historical-cultural monuments and museums in Armenia, and the next destination was Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, where they visited to bow their heads and put flowers honoring the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocidein 1915.
Before approaching the Memorial Complex, their anxiety and acute tension was obvious, as they had been looking forward to this historical moment. Upon arrival, all of them began to gather information about Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and strolled about the area. The participants from Diyarbakir couldn’t suppress their feelings;tears,mixed with the feeling of pain and memory,were coming down from their eyes.
“I haveheard from my friends, visited Armenia, about Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and the museum. They would tell that the whole truth regarding the events in 1915 and the number of the Armenians martyred in each province of Turkey arepresented in details. I was looking forward to visiting Armenia and seeing everything with my own eyes, as we were grown up without getting to know anything about it. I am excited very much for being here today″. – said 65 years old Eckrem Ozkeskini when talking to the correspondent of “HayernAysor″.
At the end, all the participants said the Lord’s Prayer“Our Father″ sending it to the God for the rest of souls of the Armenian victims killed in the villainy committed by savage Turks.
