On May 29, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received Chairman of the Armenian Youth Association of AGBU Lebanon Viken Chertchian.

Greeting the Chairman of the Armenian Youth Association of AGBU Lebanon, the RA Minister of Diaspora praised the AGBU’s activities in Armenia and the Diaspora, mentioning that the children’s and youth groups of the AGBU perform successfully in the Homeland and are well received by audiences in Armenia.

Expressing gratitude to the RA Ministry of Diaspora for the several effective programs aimed at preserving the Armenian identity and strengthening the bonds between the Homeland and the Diaspora and engaging all Armenian communities in those programs, Viken Chertchian mentioned that the “Arin” Children’s and Youth Dance Ensemble of the AGBU-AYA will participate in the “My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival organized by the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

The Chairman of the Armenian Youth Association of AGBU Lebanon also mentioned that all the children and youth having visited Armenia through the “Ari Tun” Program talk about their days in the Homeland and their knowledge with pleasure.

The sides discussed the exchange of information about future programs and events, as well as issues on awareness about all programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora in the Armenian community of Lebanon.
