Events dedicated to 103rd anniversary of Armenian Genocide in Sharjah

On April 23, the St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Sharjah hosted a ceremony commemorating the 103rd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Among the participants were Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Arab Emirates Gegham Gharibjanyan; Catholicossal Vicar in Qatar, His Grace, Bishop Mesrob Sarkisian; representatives of the Armenian community and other guests.

The evening liturgy was followed by a candlelight vigil, after which Professor Haikazun Alvrtsyan (Yerevan) delivered a lecture entitled “Converted Armenians in Turkey” at Pierre Keoseian Hall.
