On December 22, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received founder of VHL Developments construction firm, Honorary Representative of the Development Foundation of Armenia in Toronto Van Lapoyan and French-Armenian figure, Chairman of the branches of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders in Europe, the USA and Canada Rubik Galstanian.

Greeting the guests, Minister Hranush Hakobyan highly appreciated their activities in the Diaspora and the homeland. “Mr. Lapoyan, I am glad that you expressed the desire to make an investment in Armenia after participating in the 6^th Armenia-Diaspora Pan-Armenian Conference in September and exploring the investment programs and market in Armenia. What is inspiring is that you are currently collaborating with the Development Foundation of Armenia. I am certain that all of your programs will be a success in Armenia,” the Minister of Diaspora stated.

Van Lapoyan expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and particularly stated the following: “The Diaspora always has to be present in life in Armenia and be a part of the homeland.”

The guest talked about the process of organizing repatriation and attached importance to the development and modification of the strategy and plan for and law on repatriation.

Attaching importance to the activities and past programs of the Ministry of Diaspora, French-Armenian figure Rubik Galstanian stressed the following: “This Ministry is the home of every Diaspora Armenian in the homeland.”
