On September 25, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan received the delegation visiting Armenia through the Overcoming the Consequences of War Together Project being implemented by “Armenian Caritas” Benevolent NGO and the German-Russian Exchange international benevolent organization.

Transmitting the welcoming remarks of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan to the guests, the Deputy Minister particularly stated the following: “The “Armenian Caritas” Benevolent NGO has become very close to our hearts, and it is a great pleasure for the Ministry to collaborate with this organization. We are glad that the organization carries out its charity programs in not only Yerevan, but also Armenia’s provinces. We are well aware that “Armenian Caritas” carries out extensive social protection and community development projects, improving the health, educational and social conditions of the target groups and carrying out humanitarian, development and integration actions for returnees. Continue your mission. Thank you!”

Serzh Srapionyan also presented the programs of the RA Ministry of Diaspora for preservation of the Armenian identity and the complete and effective implementation of the state policy on the development of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership.

Head of the Department of the Near East and Middle East at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Levon Antonyan presented the programs that the Ministry is carrying out for the integration of Syrian-Armenians having settled in Armenia due to the Syrian war and emphasized that “Armenian Caritas” has also shown active participation in these programs. The members of the delegation expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and asked their questions of interest.

Summing up the meeting, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan voiced hope that the Ministry and “Armenian Caritas” would continue their cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the guests granted commemorative gifts to the museum of the RA Ministry of Diaspora.
