“You became attached to the Homeland with one thousand invisible strings”

On July 29, the grand closing ceremony of the fifth “Ari Tun” Program of the RA Ministry of Diaspora was held at the “Ari Tun” Camp in Tsaghkadzor. Among the participants were Chief of Staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora Firdus Zakaryan, employees of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and guests.

The Chief of Staff greeted the participants of the program and stated the following: “Dear participants of the “Ari Tun” Program, the program has drawn to an end, and you will be returning to your countries of residence. I am certain that you learned more about the Homeland than you could learn in your textbooks. Unquestionably, you grew to love Armenia more, and the seeds of the love that have been sown in your souls will sprout and give fruit years later. I am certain that you made new friends here and that your inner world was enriched with new ideas, new feelings and new impressions. You realized that you are Armenian and that you are the owner and protector this Land, the guarantor of its development and the bearer of the old and rich culture. You became attached to the Homeland with one thousand invisible strings and felt the magnetic force. So, have a safe trip and a safe return in the near future.”

The participants of the “Ari Tun” Program performed numbers that they had been rehearsing for during the camping event.

At the end, the participants danced the traditional Armenian Kochari dance around a bonfire.

The fifth stage of the program was held with the participation of 132 young Armenian boys and girls from 15 countries, including Russia, the USA, Argentina, the Netherlands, France, Bulgaria, Spain, Norway, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Georgia.
