RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan receives participants of the 1st Pan-Armenian Forum of Young Businessmen

On July 16, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the participants of the first Pan-Armenian Forum of Young Businessmen.

The forum, which is organized by the Union of Young Employers of Armenia with the support of the Ministries of Diaspora and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, has gathered 80 young businessmen from Armenia, Russia, the USA, France, Lithuania, Ukraine, Turkey, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Israel.

Greeting the guests, Minister Hranush Hakobyan attached importance to the consolidation of the potential of young Armenian businessmen and the establishment of business relations that will surely contribute to the growth and empowerment of Armenia’s economy.

“The conduct of such forums in the homeland goes to show that the Armenian Diaspora is becoming more Armenia-centered and that Armenia is the axis around which all individuals and organizations with potential need to unite and work together. I am certain that Armenian businessmen contribute to the growth of the economies of different countries with their successes, and this makes me very happy and proud. However, experience has shown that everything that the Armenians build and carry out in foreign countries is forgotten over time. What remains is what has been built on and for the homeland,” the Minister said and recalled examples of several Armenian businessmen who have made great contributions in various countries, but have been forgotten over time.

Expressing gratitude to the Minister for the reception and sensational words, the participants of the meeting talked about the results of the forum, the agreements that were reached and their future plans and made several recommendations to make the future forums more representative and effective.

At the end of the meeting, the participants watched a video devoted to the programs of the Ministry of Diaspora, became motivated and expressed willingness to make efforts to ensure more active participation of the members of their respective communities in those programs.
