Separate chapter devoted to Nagorno-Karabakh in Petit Fute travel guide

The sixth edition of Petit Fute travel guide devoted to Armenia has been released and includes a separate chapter devoted to Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).

Petit Fute is a monthly travel guide designed for French and French-speaking tourists and features helpful and interesting information about a particular country or particular city’s tourism infrastructures.

The chapter devoted to Nagorno-Karabakh presents the development of tourism in the country and the creation of corresponding infrastructures.

The travel guide introduces readers to the history, nature and architecture of Artsakh and provides a brief description of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh, the 20-year negotiations process and the OSCE’s role in that process. Tourists traveling to Nagorno-Karabakh are advised to visit Stepanakert, Shushi, Gandzasar monastic complex, the Museum of Tigranakert, the Fortress of Askeran, the ancient Dadivank Monastery and more.

The travel guide also provides a brief description of Artsakh’s capital Stepanakert and presents a list of hotels, restaurants and types of transportation traveling from Yerevan to Stepanakert with prices and the duration of the trip. The section devoted to Shushi presents information about the city’s history, cultural and educational institutions, as well as hotels and tourism infrastructures.

The travel guide also includes information about how to enter the territory of the NKR.
