Armenian Genocide: Man in a Glass Booth Conducts Hunger Strike (Video)

Armenian hunger striker Agasi Vartanyan is several days into a 55-day protest overlooking a Burbank church parking lot to make a point during the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in which he says his grandparents were killed. Vartanyan is 55 and hopes to beat a 50-day hunger strike he conducted in St. Petersburg, Russia in 2006 to raise awareness and money for Russian vets.

The church is St. Leon Cathedral and beginning Tuesday you can follow a stream of life in the glass booth at CAHNA.org. CAHNA stands for Crimes Against Humans – Never Again. That’s the organization behind Vartanyan’s effort.
