Armenia has recently been working on enhancing its military-industrial complex, replenishing the armed forces with samples of Armenian military equipment and the latest armaments, as well as ensuring the reliable and constant operation of the existing military equipment and armaments.

Every day, the national army receives new, more high-quality and state-of-the-art military equipment, increasing the defense potential of the Republic of Armenia.

Evidence of this is the draft law “On the Military-Industrial Complex” recently adopted by the National Assembly, which creates serious preconditions for the development of the sphere.

From now on, the new production line for special armaments and military equipment, the official opening ceremony of which was held on 2 April, will also become an inseparable part of the Armenian military-industrial complex, as reported on the official website of the RA Ministry of Defense, according to Hayern Aysor.

As Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan stated, the production line will provide the opportunity to focus more on upgrading the special devices, armaments and military equipment of the Anti-Air Defense, which is one of the major and most efficient subdivisions of the national army. In addition, there will be new jobs, which will help solve the social and economic issues facing the Republic of Armenia.

Touring the new state-of-the-art production line, the Minister of Defense was introduced to the conditions of the building, the large-scale activities that had been completed, the technical equipment and discussed current and prospective programs with the representatives and professionals of the sphere.

A small garden of fir trees was established in the yard of the production line, marking the start of operation of the new production line and as a symbol of success.
