RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan has issued a statement on the passage by the Parliament of Cyprus of the law criminalizing the denial of genocides.

Armenia welcomes the April 2 unanimous passage by the Parliament of Cyprus of the law criminalizing the denial of genocides. This is a symbolic event on the threshold of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

With the passage of this law, Cyprus made an important contribution to the great task of preventing genocides and crimes against humanity.
