21 countries are a barrier to Erdogan in regard to the issue of the Armenian Genocide
Hayern Aysor reports that the following is posted on islamist-movements Arab website:
“The closer we get to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide (April 24th), the more commemoration events and ceremonies are being held, making the Turks go against those events and ceremonies more and more. During a meeting with diplomatic representatives in Ankara, Erdogan emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the corresponding organizations must put in all their efforts to fight against these inclinations. During that same meeting, Erdogan demanded the adoption of a new strategy against the efforts of Armenians in Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora.
To this day, Turkey refuses to recognize the murders of 1.5 million martyrs. In regard to this, talking about the Armenian Genocide, Patriarch Fuad Altaual of the Catholics of Jerusalem stated that Turkey has been leading its policy of denial for decades and that the only way to go against that policy is with the truth.
The year 2015 is a significant year for all Armenians since it marks the centennial of the massacres for which the Armenian people are fighting for as they face great challenges, regardless of the fact that Turkey makes efforts to reduce the number of the victims to 300,000, saying that the massacres were not Genocide and complains about people using that term. However, 21 countries and prestigious international organizations have recognized the Armenian Genocide.”
