Event dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide to be held in Istanbul

On March 27, Turkey’s Anti-Racist Initiative DurDe will host a meeting with members of non-governmental organizations and activists across Europe as part of the events commemorating the Armenian Genocide in Istanbul, writes ermenihaber.am.

Among the attendees will be Armenian artists and intellectuals. According to news posted on the website of DurDe, leader of the European Grassroots Antiracist Movement (EGAM) Benjamin Abtan and member of AGBU Europe Nicolas Tavitian will also be attending the meeting.

During the meeting to be held in Istanbul on March 27, activists and members of Turkish non-governmental organizations will discuss issues on their joint struggle. It is mentioned that the meeting will be an Open Doors event.
