The Armenians are a nation that is always alert and remembers the Armenian Genocide.

This is what journalist for Lebanon’s Sefir newspaper Doniz Atala mentioned during a press conference held on the sidelines of the “At the Foot of Mount Ararat” international media forum in Yerevan on March 18, writes artsakhpress.am.

This is the Lebanese journalist’s first visit to Armenia. Doniz said even though she lives in Lebanon, she knows more about Armenians and Armenia. “I know how important the issue of the Armenian Genocide is for the Armenians of Lebanon,” she highlighted.

The Lebanese-Armenians have left a very good impression on the journalist, who voiced hope that the international media forum in Yerevan will go to show once again that the Armenians stand up for their claims. Doniz Atala added that most Lebanese know about the Armenian Genocide.
