Knowledge competition dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide

On March 15th and 16th, the Board of Education of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran organized another Knowledge Competition as part of the events organized by the Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran. The only difference was that this time the competition was dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide.

The 5th and 6th grade students of all Armenian schools of Iran answered 25 questions taken from their manuals entitled “I Remember and Demand”, as well as lessons devoted to the Armenian Genocide and the Battle of Sardarapat.

In the period of 150317a04a30 minutes, the 7th and 8th grade students, as well as the students of the A, B and C classrooms of Group B also answered questions designed for them and taken from the book entitled “I Remember and Demand”.

The students with the highest number of points and a group of five students from their school will take part in the second round of the competition to be held in late April.

Here we must emphasize the important fact that the Armenian language teachers of our schools didn’t spare any effort to provide lessons for more than a month. It was clear that the topics devoted to the Armenian Genocide and the renaissance of the Armenian people and the results being recorded lied at the core of all this.
