On March 17, the RA Ministry of Diaspora hosted a teleconference with representatives of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Jordan Regional Committee. Among the participants were chairman of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Regional Committee, chairman of the National Sport Association of Amman, chairman of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) Jordan Regional Committee Nerses Nersesian, as well as members of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Jordan Regional Committee Hagop Hagopian, Garo Herdemian, Bedros Vartanian and Maral Nersesian.

Issues related to the past and upcoming events organized by the Armenian community of Jordan on the occasion of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the “At the Foot of Mount Ararat” media forum (18-20 March) and the global forum entitled “Against the Crime of Genocide” (22-23 April) were discussed during the teleconference.
