Students of YSU Faculty of Theology visit the RA Ministry of Diaspora

On March 3, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received third-year students of the Faculty of Theology at Yerevan State University under the leadership of Associate Professor of the Chair of Armenian Church History and Church Studies, candidate of historical sciences Arshak Balyan.

The RA Minister of Diaspora presented Armenia’s state policy on, as well as the directions, major objectives and national priorities for the development of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership and attached special importance to the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, as well as the pan-Armenian programs aimed at raising the reputation of Armenia and the Armenian nation.

During the visit to the RA Ministry of Diaspora, the students were also introduced to the activities of the departments and divisions of the RA Ministry of Diaspora. Head of the Division for Scientific and Educational Programs of the Department of All-Armenian Programs Sirvard Hambaryan presented the programs and activities of the RA Ministry of Diaspora and particularly the Department of All-Armenian Programs.

Representative of the Department for Relations with Pan-Armenian, International and Church Organizations at the RA Ministry of Diaspora Karen Mkrtchyan talked about the research and analyses that the RA Ministry of Diaspora conducts with the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church and religious and international religious organizations and on the religious events that take place in the Armenian Diaspora.
