“My Mother’s Voice” documentary to go on the big screen in New York in March

Writer and filmmaker Kay Mouradian’s documentary “My Mother’s Voice” will go on the big screen in New York on March 21st, as Massis Post reports, according to “Armenpress”.

Through the homonymous book and the 25-minute film, the filmmaker has made an attempt to present the Armenian Genocide and the impact that it had on Armenian families residing in the Ottoman Empire.

“This story will move not only young readers, but also those who love history and want to know about the Armenian Genocide,” Mouradian said. The film is the life story of Mouradian’s mother, Flora, who escaped from the Armenian Genocide and reached Syria. Flora and her 16-year-old sister, Vergin were the only members of the family who survived.
