On the occasion of Book Donation Day, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan donated the novel “Mandilion” by the late Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Germany, member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktstyun Vahan Hovhannisyan to government officials.

“For the past several years, Armenia has been celebrating Book Donation Day on the birthday of great Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan.

On that occasion, I have donated Vahan Hovhannisyan’s novel to you all. It’s very important for you to find the time and read the novel before the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,” Hovik Abrahamyan mentioned as he addressed the government officials prior to the government session, as “Armenpress” reports.

Hovhannisyan’s novel was released last year.
