A relative of great writer Hovhannes Tumanyan, who lives next to Tumanyan’s apartment in Tbilisi, has agreed to sell her apartment.

This is what President of the Union of Writers of Armenia Edward Militonyan said during a February 18 press conference.

“Tumanyan’s apartment in Tbilisi will become a cultural center. After the purchase, the house was passed on to the Armenian cultural center in Tbilisi. By joining the house to be bought from Tumanyan’s relative with the territory, we will be able to create a larger cultural center,”Edward Militonyan said.
