On February 15, ahead of the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Khachik Balikchyan, author of several books and works, gave a lecture devoted to Armenian printing in the Netherlands, as well as the foundation and construction of the Holy Spirit Church of Amsterdam at the hall of the Saint Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church in Almelo. The lecture was organized by the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU).

Among the speakers was Chair of AGBU Netherlands Harout Palanjian, who presented the program of events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and called on the gathered to show active participation in the events and demonstrations.
