On February 4, members of the newly elected central board of the Ararat Armenian Cultural Organization of Tehran visited the RA Embassy in Iran, as the RA MFA press service reports.

During the meeting with the board members, RA Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelyan talked about the Organization’s activities and praised its efforts.

Chairman of the newly elected board of the Organization Gevorg Vardan briefly presented the activities that have been carried out under the auspices of the Organization, particularly the events dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

At the end, Ambassador Arakelyan presented chairman of the Assembly of Delegates of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran Gevorg Vardan with the Movses Khorenatsi Medal and certificate granted by RA President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.
