On April 23 at the symbolic hour (19:15), the martyrs of the Armenian Genocide will be canonized at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin of Armenia, after which all churches of Armenia will ring bells 100 times.

All Armenian churches of the world and other well-known churches will also join this initiative at the same hour. After the 100 bells, there will be a second of silence in the country, meaning everything (traffic, media, etc.) will be stopped.

Afterwards, the choir will perform the songs “Surp-Surp” and “Hair Mere” in Etchmiadzin. Choirs will perform the same prayers at the same time at all churches around the world.

The ceremonies to be conducted by communities having joined the initiatives will be broadcast on Armenian Public Television.
